About Facing In

Facing In is an organizational community of facilitators, healers, ritualists, therapists, and restorative justice practitioners working to help individuals, groups, and communities move through conflict, harm, trauma, and disconnection with greater dignity, accountability, and belonging.

Rooted in resilience- and trauma-informed practice, Facing In offers support through conflict transformation, restorative and healing circles, therapeutic and somatic healing practices, ritual and spiritual work, and programs such as Untangling Whiteness. Their work helps people face inward and toward one another in ways that strengthen relationships, foster healing, and support collective liberation.

Originally founded as a restorative justice collective, Facing In has evolved into a collaborative community of practitioners who bring diverse skills and lived experience to the work of healing, reconciliation, and transformation.

Beloved Communities Network serves as Facing In’s incubator, supporting the project’s continued growth and development as it expands its impact in communities throughout the Bay Area and beyond.
